Rehome in North Shields, Tyne and Wear for sale

Rehome

This is leah she is 2 years old she is a husky cross. She is lovely, all the vacination are up to date boater are due in September. It's hard decision fir me as I'm startting a full time job i thinking of the future she would not have the best life with me. She will play with you, however she will not fetch a ball and will look at you as if to say well you threw it so you bring it, she will follow you all over the house if she wants attention, but once she is settled will cosy up on her bed relax no problem. She loves a good bone to chew on, and is a dog who needs attention. She cannot be left for long periods of time. I am currently away 3 times a week at work and she is left with my other dog . She is good on a leash if you are firm with her. I have worked hard with her over the years with leash training and I can now just speak to her and she will stop pulling. I can let her off if we are in a secure place - e.g. the fields, beach of one of the walks I know and her recall is getting better. Other times I practive long leash walking with her and she would literally walk for miles if you let her, and this way she is a very enjoyable dog to take out. I tend to get at least one long walk a day with her, and then another 1-2 small ones depending if im at work. She is a clean dog. She does not like to get muddy, wet, dig or anything like that. She is ok with other dogs. She has been brought up with my other dog who is a small mongrel, and really easy for me to manage. The little one is the boss and she will always back down. When meeting new dogs on the leash she can be lungy and bark, however this is a work in progress and she is getting better each time. Sometimes she will not bother her at all, it think it depends on her mood. Speaking firmly and walking straight pass with no fuss usually does the trick! Off the lead meeting new dogs she is find as long as they don't make a big fuss of her and leave her alone. She has never bit another dog, but has had a snap to show she has had enough of them and then walked off. When we go out walking with dogs she knows and has met before she is no problem. She walks fine off the leader with them and they all get on with there own thing. She is good with children, however isn't one to overly play. She would rather they just sat and stroked her and does tend to get overally excited with the licking so i would recommend she went somewhere with children a little older than toddlers. This for the simple fact she can knock them over etc. She would be able to go to a home with another dog, but I would be keen to introduce them on a few walks or home visits first etc so it was a gradual process. Overall she is just a beautiful loving dog, and it has took me a long time to come to this decision. I did think about taking her to dogs trust however I would like to try this route first as I would like to know that she is going to a good person or family who would be able to give her the right life. She needs someone or a family who is able to give her a lot of attention, go for walks and overall a loving home. The price I have is because I don't want her to just go to someone who isn't bothered, or is looking to sell her on, or use her as a breeding machine etc. If you are the right person who was serious about rehoming a dog you wouldn't mind paying the small fee. It just shows me you are serious about her. Give me an offer
